Will a patio cover make my patio cooler?
In hot summer months a patio can make your patio up to 10 degrees cooler, and can mitigate the direct sun exposure, which can have a dramatic impact on the felt temperature. This is ideal for everyone's comfort if you are planning on entertaining. A fan can be added to the ceiling to provide refreshing top-down air currents to cool if even further. For nighttime entertaining we also offer recessed lights.
Will a window awning help with the heat in my room?
Window awnings can reduce solar heat gain in the summer by up to 65% on south-facing windows and 77% on west-facing windows. With well insulated walls, the effect can be even more substantial. Even without great insulation, a significant positive impact (as stated above) can be felt with the reduction of direct sun and heat because of the covering.
How much will patio cover cost?
Prices vary on which type of shade structure you choose. We offer flat pan, w-pan, insulated, and lattice styles - each offers a different effect and look. We offer competitive pricing and will do our best to meet or beat any other licensed contractor. At times, certain availabilities of materials are strained - we can provide you with a relatively accurate timeline, and an accurate price quote at the time of estimate.

Do you work with insurance companies?
Yes. Our Products and Services work well with insurance claims. Just let us know it is an insurance claim and we will provide the correct paperwork the insurance company is looking for.
We have worked on hundreds of claims in the recent past with excellent results.
Do I need to put any money down to get my shade structure started?
We do not ask for any money down when working on jobs under $12,000 in total cost. When we are done and you are satisfied is when you pay us.
Can your patio covers handle heavy winds?
Yes! Covers are able to withstand winds up to 110 mph. We install patio covers in Cabezon, and Beaumont, California, where there are sustained, very high winds and our products have no problem holding up to the environment.
Our products are engineered to be in place for decades without degradation in harsh desert conditions, where heavy temporary rains, sustained direct heat, and high winds are all part of the ambient environment, generally.
How long does it take for our Patio cover to get to our home after we order it?
Currently, during a difficult time from a logisitical perspective (ALL manufacturers are seeing delays in shipping and production right now), thefollowing timelines are in place. In times of better logistics, you can expect quicker timelines.
If you choose W-Pan styling for your shade structure, it will take approximately 10-12 days after signing for your cover to be installed.
Lattice, flat pan, or insulated styles of shade covers currently take approximately 10 weeks until the install date.
Can you install on a second story deck?
Yes you can install a shade structure on the second level on an exterior deck!
Thanks to the lightweight structure and the engineering, this is not a problem and many customers comment about how much cooler their room was after an installation.
Do you charge for estimates?
No. Estimates are always FREE.
What if I do not have concrete? Can I still have a patio cover?
Yes! Posts may be bolted to a footing.
What height should I choose for my cover?
Covers ordered are built from materials that are 8′ – 10′ high. Your posts will need to be cut onsite to fit your exact requirements.
What if I just need a door covering?
No job is too small. If you need just a covering over your door we can do that too.
Do you work with my HOA (Home Owners Association)?
Yes. All of the time. We will provide you with all of the paperwork you need to make this a seamless process.
